Fiona Azizaj is the founder of Sun Dog Communications – a communications strategist, creative director, and writer whose work lives at the intersection of precision and poetry. She doesn’t just write copy; she architects meaning. With over a decade of experience spanning government, the private sector, and the arts, Fiona has shaped narratives that move policy, build trust, and spark imagination. Her leadership is rooted in clarity, her creativity in curiosity, and the belief that language – when wielded with care – can shift perspectives and stir action.

Since settling in Whitehorse in 2003, Fiona has drawn inspiration from the stark beauty and quiet resilience of the North. When she’s not writing, she’s likely lakeside, deep in the woods, or brokering backyard diplomacy between her two unruly pets, Xena and Snoop.
